A town in Newfoundland and Labrador has been recognized as autism-friendly. Hotels offer sensory rooms, and adapted rooms and menus. Store clerks and restaurant waiters take the time to assist in teaching children basic life skills. And I’m sure there’s so much more that video couldn’t capture. Let’s all try to make our own towns a little more like Channel-Portes aux Basques!
